Custom Rainwater Solutions for high volume roof areas
Check out these large custom fabricated aluminium rain heads for one of Reel Roofing’s commercial roof replacement projects where large internal gutters feed the run off into these rain heads. It’s a significant roof area!
These large rain heads measure approximately 900mm x 1000mm x 360mm, and were crafted from 3.0mm thick aluminium.
The process for our experienced team went roughly like this:
Outlines were drawn and cut for fabrication into the rain head forms.
These forms were then partially welded (you can see the partial weld stage happening in one of the photos).
Then they then went to site for a dry fit to check everything was spot on in terms of measurements (you can see one of the rainheads pre site visit top of page).
Upon return from a successful dry fit all the partially welded seams were finished and then both units were sanded and polished.
Once sanded and polished they were powdercoated in the colour Titania ahead of going to site for their final installation.
